Lim Lee Lee
Age: 42 Prior to joining DiD, Lee Lee has years of work experience in the telecommunications and financial industry. An assertive and determined individual, Lee Lee believes in lifelong learning and actively seeks opportunities for personal development. Her personal motto is “Success is the ability and courage to start one’s journey from the valley after reaching a mountain peak”. Born with visual impairment, Lee Lee is more sensitive in using her other senses to take note of her surroundings and pay attention to minute details. However, as she cannot anticipate physical obstacles and identify buses by sight, she needs to rely on the goodwill of the public.
As a guide, Lee Lee derives satisfaction from playing a role in public education, knowing that visitors are able to gain a better understanding about visual impairment. She is also one of our trainer guide for DiD executive workshops.
